4. His Majesty's Embassy also have the honour

to enclose, with reference to Sir Robert Craigie'

Note No. 251 of the 19th December, 1959, a list of attacks

on Chinese junks by Japanese naval vessels since October 1st,

1939, together with a summary of the number of vessels

attacked during this period and their casualties and losses.

The continuance of these attacks, in spite of the repeated

representations on the subject made by His Majesty's Embassy,

cannot fail to cause growing concern to His Majesty's

Government.
